Welcome to episode 3 of the CUES Experience Podcast. I recorded a bunch of conversations and sessions at the CUES Experience: Immersion Learning for Marketing, Technology and Operations Leaders Conference. The event was held from May 13–16, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.

In this episode, I interview Diva Deb from North Carolina Postal Credit Union and also highlight 15 minutes from the keynote given by the Chairman, President and CEO of ING Direct USA, Arkadi Kuhlman.

Love Diva Deb's "Hoopty" campaign. I have to go check it out online now.

Love the takeaways from Arkadi:

Simple, honest products. Keep marketing of it simple.
Don't change the marketing message every year (never mind every month or quarter!). One single message, all the time.
Don't segment your membership. All people are equal.
Don't watch what banks are doing nor go to their conferences.
If you want to change the game, you can't listen to conventional wisdom.
