By Tim McAlpine
Welcome to episode 14 of Credit Union Innovators. My guest is Trey Reeme. Trey is TDECU’s Director of Channel Integration, where he leads social media campaigns and corporate blogging efforts, launching Young & Free Texas in August 2008. Prior to joining TDECU, he was an entrepreneur and the main contributor to the most acclaimed blog in the credit union industry, Open Source CU.
A seasoned speaker at national events for CUES, CUNA, the Filene Research Institute, over 10 state credit union leagues, and even the NCUA, Trey’s topics focus on reaching youth, social media and technology trends. Trey recently authored a CUES Executive Brief to be released in late 2008.
Trey lives in Austin with his wife and daughter and enjoys tech toys, writing and golf. He is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana and in 2007 began work on his MBA.
You can listen by streaming audio here or you can subscribe to it in iTunes and listen on your iPod.

Man, I knew I should've said Obama. So much for my bold predictions. This is why I never made a career out of that political science major.

Fun interview! Trey's one of my favorite people in the movement because he's not satisfied with the way things are. His passion is contagious.
PS. I'd love to hear the interview of you, Tim. If you're not a CU Innovator, I don't know who is.

@CUWarrior - I second your motion that Tim needs to release the interview on him. I think I did a pretty good job asking him the questions that everyone wants to know. However, the longer he sits on it, the more it might be outdated.....
