Tim McAlpine

Tim is a credit union advocate who believes that credit unions and the credit union movement need to work harder to prove that there is a difference and that it matters.
Tim has more than 20 years of experience in the marketing and communications business. He received his graphic design and communications diploma from the University College of the Fraser Valley in 1990. Working in the industry while attending school gave Tim the experience he needed to start his business upon graduation.
As creative director, Tim guides every aspect of the Young & Free brand. Tim also guides the Currency brand, our self-promotional efforts and writing about and speaking to the credit union industry.
Tim is a popular speaker on the credit union circuit. He has presented at numerous credit union and finance conferences throughout North America for many top organizations including Forrester Research and CUES. His writing has been published in numerous credit union publications, such as the Credit Union Management Magazine.
