BMI is committed to improving the financial lives of members

On the latest episode of It’s a Money Thing Backstage, we talk to Terri Gregoroff and Angela Teagardner from BMI Federal Credit Union about their comprehensive financial education program. The credit union is celebrating 90 years of service in Central Ohio and is known for offering free financial coaching and educational resources to their community. Angela serves as a financial education coach providing unlimited one-on-one coaching sessions to members, while Terri develops content and supports community workshops.

Their program includes lunch-and-learns with employer groups, community workshops at libraries, youth education in schools and partnerships with local organizations. They utilize It's a Money Thing videos extensively in their presentations. The credit union's approach demonstrates how credit unions can meaningfully connect with their communities through accessible, free financial education that impacts individual lives and builds financial wellness.
